Eslam graduated from Connecticut College with a BA in Cellular and Molecular Biology and Statistics. He spent summer 2021 in the lab as a SURP undergraduate intern. In his internship he worked on SARS-CoV-2 surveillance of variant viruses. In summer 2022, Eslam started as a Research Assistant to continue to contribute to inference of fitness and Rt of SARS-CoV-2 variant viruses.
